Choose the part to plan first: transport, accommodation, an experience or the whole trip. Use the guides below to compare the options and keep the details that matter together.
For transport, note the dates, pickup and drop-off, passengers, bags and any flight or stops. For accommodation, keep the place, nights, room requirements and budget together. For an experience, include the interest, location, date and group. For the whole trip, start with the days available and the parts already booked.
Make a useful outline
“Two adults, seven days in September, arriving in Sarajevo, interested in history and food” is a useful start. Add any fixed departure, essential visit or day you want to keep free, then put the stays and journeys beside that outline.
If you are deciding between dates or places to stay, include the alternatives. For a budget, state the currency, whether it is per person or for the whole party, and what it should cover. A transport-only budget and a whole-holiday budget describe different requests.
Keep the right details together
Keep your route notes and confirmed arrangements together. For a question about a booked service, use the responsible company and contact named on its confirmation.
Dates and journey requirements are enough for an initial planning outline. Leave out passport copies, payment-card details and unnecessary sensitive information. Describe access needs in terms of the journey or room arrangement required.

Check the named operator, exact service, price, inclusions and change terms before paying. Compare the offer with the route, dates and practical requirements in your notes.
