Parking in Mostar

For the Old Bridge and an unhurried walk through Mostar, compare a street ticket with a named car park before you arrive. Ćiro, Federalna and Đački have a separate daily tariff. Summer weekend charging on tourist streets is an exception worth knowing.

Old Town streets or a named car park?

For the Old Town, Mostar Parking names Onešćuka, Maršala Tita and part of Gojka Vukovića. Its zone guide helps locate the area; the sign at the bay identifies the ticket to buy. Compare the walk to the Old Bridge as well as the parking price.

Ćiro and Federalna are listed between Dr Ante Starčevića and Kneza Domagoja: Ćiro behind HNK, Federalna behind the Federal Government building. Đački is by Kralja Tvrtka, beside the former pupils’ residence. These named special car parks use a separate tariff from street zones; save the parking entrance before navigating.

Parking prices

Red Zone I costs 1.50 KM an hour; yellow Zone II costs 1 KM. Daily street tickets are 20 and 15 KM respectively. The marked Zone-I ticket covers both zones, while a Zone-II purchase should not be treated as Zone-I cover.

At Ćiro, Federalna and Đački, the passenger-car rate is 1.50 KM an hour during 07:00–21:00, or 10 KM for a daily ticket covering 00:00–24:00. Compare that 10 KM option with the 15 or 20 KM street ticket for a long visit. The operator says the paid special-park ticket covers its special parks for its duration.

A ticket, app payment or successful SMS

Display a machine ticket inside the windscreen for the correct zone. The operator also lists GoParking bank-card payment for hourly and daily tickets. Use the actual hire-car registration and the parking location when purchasing.

The street SMS numbers are 0838801 for Zone I and 0838802 for Zone II. Keep the successful confirmation. These are local short codes: adding +387 does not turn them into international payment numbers. With a foreign SIM, plan around a machine or a supported app method rather than assuming the SMS will work.

Parking hours and summer exceptions

From 1 November to 31 March, ordinary streets charge Monday–Friday 07:00–18:00 and Saturday 07:00–15:00. From 1 April to 31 October, weekdays extend to 21:00 and Saturdays remain 07:00–15:00. Sundays and state holidays are normally free, subject to the tourist-street exception below.

From 1 June to 30 September, the listed tourist streets charge every day, including weekends, 07:00–21:00. Onešćuka and Maršala Tita are included; Gojka Vukovića is included between Lučki Bridge and Onešćuka. The full payment guide lists all affected streets.

Special car parks have their own arrangements. If the car moves, look at the new zone, operator and ticket validity before assuming the old purchase covers it. For repeated nights, compare those options with the parking offered with your room.

A short errand or several nights

For an errand around Spanish Square, use the signed bay and its time limit. For an afternoon on both banks, a suitable daily ticket can save a return solely to extend payment. If you leave the car and travel farther, use the Mostar bus guide to plan the outward and return journeys. Reserved bays and blocked entrances remain unsuitable even with a paid ticket.

For several days, the operator publishes a 45 KM weekly commercial ticket alongside a 100 KM monthly ticket. Ask which locations and dates the offered product covers before comparing it with daily purchases. A visitor commercial ticket is different from a resident concession.
