Plan my trip

Which waterfall fits your trip?

A waterfall in a town centre, a village stop and a day in Una National Park offer different outings. Start with your overnight base and the time you want to give the visit; then pick the setting that interests you.

Waterfall A useful base Shape of the day Best reason to go
Jajce Jajce or a Central Bosnia stage Part of a town day Waterfall viewing alongside town history. The Pliva lakes and mills are a further outing.
Kravica Mostar or the Ljubuški area A main southern outing A visit centred on the falls, with room for the descent and return.
Koćuša The Ljubuški area or a Herzegovina day A shorter village stop Mlade river, historic mills and fulling structures at Veljaci. Add it for that setting, rather than simply to count another waterfall.
Štrbački buk A Bihać-area or Una-region stay A main park day The Una’s tufa landscape. Plan the approach for your vehicle and leave the visit room.
Martin Brod An Una-region stay A separate day at a slower pace Village falls, the Unac–Una meeting and mill heritage. A mill demonstration needs its own arrangement.

From a southern base, Kravica and Koćuša offer different visits. For a longer stay around the Una, give Štrbački buk and Martin Brod separate outings; the two-day photography outline shows one way to do that. A Jajce stop fits naturally within a town-history day.

Give each waterfall the part of the day it needs, including the entrance and return journey. Use the detailed waterfall guide for admission, entrances, vehicle approaches and permitted visitor areas. A sunrise plan still depends on visitor-area opening; swimming and river activities are separate choices.
