Where to stay in Mostar

Choose a Mostar base for the visit you want: evenings around the Old Bridge, a longer city stay or time around Blagaj and the surrounding countryside. The bridge quarter puts the familiar view close by; a wider city or southern base gives the days a different shape.

Compare Mostar bases

Begin with the part of Mostar you want to use each day. Put the evening walk and the journey back beside the room you are considering.

Old Bridge and Kujundžiluk
start here for a visit centred on the bridge and bazaar. Kujundžiluk’s cobbled shopping streets are part of the appeal; check the actual doorway and luggage approach.
Riverside north of the Old Bridge
use this as a search area rather than a promise of a river view. Locate the address, its bank and the crossing you would use before choosing between it and a bridge-quarter room.
Spanish Square and the west-bank centre
the square and Gymnasium give this search a clear landmark beyond the bridge quarter. Compare the address with your city walks and arrival route.
Rondo and Bijeli Brijeg
keep both in the comparison for a longer city stay. Search the actual addresses separately, weighing the room’s space and your daily journeys. A parking arrangement matters more than a general car-friendly label.
Station approach and Musala
consider the arrival journey when travelling by coach or rail. Check which station your service uses, then compare an address near it with one around Musala; do not treat them as the same location.
Blagaj
consider a separate base around the Buna and its tekke when Blagaj itself is part of the stay. Plan journeys into Mostar alongside the room choice, rather than treating the two places as one arrival point.

Three ways to place your stay

The bridge quarter · put the street first

Kujundžiluk, the Old Bazaar, and Jusovina, home to the Crooked Bridge, give you two useful streets for a bridge-focused stay. The city tourism board describes Kujundžiluk’s cobbled streets; the entrance and luggage route matter as much as a map pin.

For a short city stay, put the evening walk first. Then look at the chosen doorway: steps, a cobbled approach and the luggage drop can make two nearby addresses feel quite different on arrival. The Mostar parking guide helps if the car is coming too.

Beyond the bridge · give Mostar another day

A longer city stay leaves time for the streets and domestic history beyond the bridge view. Muslibegović House, at Osmana Đikića 41, has a museum of historic interiors and objects. You can plan that visit separately from where you sleep.

For the room itself, decide whether you want a view, a courtyard or simply an address that makes the city easy to explore. Photographs of a nearby monument or museum tell you about the neighbourhood; ask to see the bedroom you would reserve.

Gnojnice · south of the central streets

A Gnojnice address puts the overnight outside the Old Bridge quarter. It can be worth considering when your plans take you south of the centre, but place the actual address beside Blagaj, a countryside visit or any meal you have arranged.

For a city evening as well, plan the outward and return journeys before choosing an out-of-centre room. If the evening includes a wine tasting, people taking part need a designated non-drinking driver or agreed transport.

Which overnight belongs in your route?

For a first city visit, compare the bridge quarter with the wider central areas and the evening walk you want. The four-day city outline explains when a second Mostar night gives you a fuller visit. A southern base makes a different choice when more of your time belongs around Blagaj or the countryside.

For a particular view, balcony or parking space, get the room offer that includes it. The vineyard-stay collection helps plan a wine-country overnight; private transport can connect a tasting with an overnight in another part of the city.

Add your preferred Mostar area or out-of-town base and room requirements to a stay outline. Compare any proposed property’s actual address with the days and evenings you plan.
