From the airport to the city
Mostar Airport describes a commercial shuttle operated by Mostar Bus, leaving from in front of the terminal after arrivals from Zagreb, Belgrade, Düsseldorf and Stuttgart. The published fare is 10 KM. Its airport shuttle page sets out the route.
The named stops include Tekija, Lučki most, Pozorište, the bus and railway station, Hotel Mepas and Hotel Mostar, with further stops around the city. The bus/railway-station stop is the one to examine for an onward rail or coach journey. The hotel names identify bus stops.
Confirm ticket sales, payment, service for your flight and the return pickup with Mostar Airport. Mostar Airport’s information number is +387 36 446 360; use your flight date and number to establish whether the shuttle fits your arrival.
Arriving by coach
FlixBus lists an eastern station, Mostar (istočni kolodvor), at Trg Ivana Krndelja bb, and a separate western stop, Mostar (željeznički kolodvor Zapadni), at Vukovarska bb. Your ticket carries the relevant stop details. Send those to anyone collecting you rather than saying only “Mostar station”.
If you are connecting to a train or another coach, check the departure station as well as the time. Allow for collecting your bags and travelling from your arrival stop to that station. A later departure or a night in Mostar gives you more room when the connection is tight.
The last stretch to your stay
For an Old Town address, ask the property where luggage can be dropped and how you reach reception or collect keys. A vehicle’s stopping point may differ from the building’s entrance.
A pre-arranged direct ride can simplify that last stretch, particularly after a late flight or when travelling with heavy luggage.
