Tuzla buses

Ka and Kb pass through Brčanska Malta and Mejdan in different orders. Line 3 serves Bolnica Gradina; line 5 connects Slavinovići with the western end. Match the destination, direction and school-period timetable to the day, keeping an airport journey separate.

Circular routes
Ka and Kb both begin and end at Siporeks, passing Brčanska Malta and Mejdan in opposite orders.
Other destinations
Line 3 serves Bolnica Gradina; line 5 connects Slavinovići and Siporeks via MUP.
Tickets
Buy a single in the vehicle. Ask the fare and payment method; bring small KM cash.
Timetable
Use the correct school-term or school-holiday table. Confirm a late Friday return with GIPS because the published times differ.
Airport
Plan the airport separately. A city or Dubrave-area route name does not confirm a terminal transfer.

Ka and Kb · two directions around the loop

Both routes start and finish at Siporeks. Ka runs Siporeks–Ekonomska škola–Brčanska Malta–Mejdan–Siporeks. Kb reverses that order: Siporeks–Mejdan–Brčanska Malta–Ekonomska škola–Siporeks. Brčanska Malta appears on both; the different approaches matter when deciding which bus to board.

The City’s June launch notice announces departures every 30 minutes. In the school-term table effective 1 June 2026, both weekday terminal columns run from 06:00–21:00 and the Saturday and Sunday/holiday columns from 06:00–23:00. Those are departures at Siporeks, rather than predictions at another stop.

A late Friday needs a specific answer from GIPS. The launch notice includes Friday in the 06:00–23:00 window, while the weekday timetable finishes at 21:00. Do not build a Friday return after 21:00 around the later time until the operator identifies the departure.

Sjenjak, Slatina and a central visit

The school-term table names Sjenjak on line 14, Kiseljak–Ekonomska škola–Sjenjak–Slavinovići, and line 18 from Gornja Lipnica through those eastern places. For Slatina or a clinic, include the entrance in the stop enquiry.

For Trg slobode, Korzo or Panonska jezera, identify the walk from the stop you intend to use. Keep the coach station, city-centre address and airport terminal separate when planning an arrival. A Dubrave-area route name is not enough to establish a terminal transfer.

The hospital and Slavinovići routes

Line 3 runs Moluhe–Ekonomska škola–Bolnica Gradina. The school-term table includes 08:35 from Moluhe and 09:05 from the Gradina end in its weekday, Saturday and Sunday/holiday sections. They are examples of terminal departures, not an appointment-to-bus connection.

Line 5’s timetable heading is Slavinovići–MUP–Siporeks. Weekday examples are 09:00 from Slavinovići and 09:15 from the other end; Sunday/holiday examples include 10:30 outward and 12:15 back. MUP is an intermediate place, so those times do not tell you when to wait there.

Buy a single on board

The tourism board says singles are sold in the vehicle, with stored-value Bus cards available and monthly cards handled separately. For a short stay, state the destination, buy the appropriate single and keep it for inspection.

Have small KM cash and ask the fare and payment method. A stored-value Bus card does not establish bank-card payment on the vehicle.

The map and timetable do different jobs

The City’s March network map labels Ekonomska škola, Brčanska Malta and Bolnica Gradina, with Tuzla AS Zapad and Tuzla AS Istok shown separately. It predates the June launch of Ka and Kb. Use it for the established network, with the circular-route information alongside it.

The March map labels the western end of lines 2 and 5 as Tuzla AS Zapad, while June timetable headings use Siporeks. If this affects a station connection, ask which actual boarding or arrival stop the departure uses. The labels alone do not prove that two places are interchangeable.

Use the right school-period table

The City’s timetable page separately labels school-term and school-holiday services. The tourism board’s June airport workbook is also headed for school holidays. Its summer schedule should not be carried into an all-year airport journey.

For boarding assistance, give the operator the stop, direction and departure. Put the accommodation address beside the room-to-stop journey. The arrival guide covers airport taxis and city-coach arrivals separately.

Keep the return easy to find

Save the stop and departure information while online, with small KM cash and the issued ticket ready for the journey. Let people off, keep bags clear of the doors and follow priority-seat signs. A discount or free-ride notice needs eligibility for that product; do not assume a visitor qualifies.

For a late coach or airport arrival, prepare a transfer request with the arrival point, room entrance and bags. Compare any provider’s offered journey with the public route and walk.
